Project - Robot
The purpose of this project was to build a robot that would meet a certain challenge together with another group and their robot. The challenge was to pick up balls in different sizes and colors and then sort and deliver them to the right place.
My team's robot's task was to pick up and sort the balls while our collaboration team would receive and deliver the balls to the correct boxes. Each boll that was delivered to the right box gave one point and the team with the highest score would win the whole contest

Only the blue, white and the wooden balls were to be sorted while the red ones gave minus points if they were delivered to one of the boxes. The developed system therefore sorts out the red balls directly by letting them fall down back into the box with the help of gravity and the various gutters that guides the route of the balls
The developed system is also equipped with an overfill protection mechanism that ensures that all balls that do not fit in the machine will fall back into the box in the same way as the red balls. This is because if too many balls are fed, they can get stuck and fall off the machine and every dropped ball gives one minus point

The result became that the developed robot was able to solve the challenge of picking up balls, get rid of the red ones, sort the other balls and hand them over to the other robot. On the contest day everything went well except the handover as the other robot was not in the right place so the balls could not be delivered.
