Project- KASAK
The purpose of this project was to help workers at KASAK car wash to communicate what to do and what is done on each car in the chain since the staff who work there have some difficulties communicating and not everyone understands Swedish. Another challenge was also to be able to match the car mats to the right car after they had been taken out and washed in another room.
My solution became a reusable checklist that can show what the customer wants and what has already been done on the car. The checklist is also equipped with a clamp to hang the carpets with, and to be able to match the car and the carpets, both the checklist and the clamp are marked with a matching number.
The point of the solution is that the person in charge of the bookings will fill in what the customer wants from the services that the company offers, which registration number the car has and when the car is to be returned. The list is then placed on the car and the workers can see what needs to be done. When a task is completed, the X is erased until the entire list is clean. If the workers cannot read or understand Swedish, there are pictures on the back that illustrate each step.
